Free Admission for Yukata Wearers

(Event Being Held at Both the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum and the Iwatsuki Doll Museum)

Admission is free of charge for those who come wearing a yukata, or any traditional Japanese fashion like a jinbei.
How about enjoying the summer with yukata and bonsai?

Yukata Dress-up Experience (Free Yukata Rental Available)

Experience dressing up in a yukata and viewing our museum. 

We will rent out a yukata to wear for free.

※Both men and women can join, but we do not have any yukata for children. Thank you for your understanding. 

Date: Mon. July 15, 2024, 10:00～、10:30～、14:00～、14:30～

Capacity: Maximum of 5 people per timeslot

Venue: Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, 2nd floor lecture room

Price: Free

How to Join: Please register using the Saitama Shogai Gakushu Joho System (https://gakushu.city.saitama.jp/) (participants will be chosen at random).

Registration Period: By Mon. July 10th, 2024

Uchimizu Water Sprinkling Event 

We will run an uchimizu water sprinkling event featuring people who take part in the Yukata Dress-up Experience in the garden. 
Take part in Japanese culture through yukata, bonsai and uchimizu in this fun event.

Price: Free (Admission fee is required for those not wearing a kimono)

1. Free Gift for Everybody Following on Instagram

Receive either an Omiya Bonsai Art Museum original postcard or an original can.

How to Take Part
Show on a screen that you are following both the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum Instagram account and the Iwatsuki Doll Museum Instagram account at the reception of either facility.

2. Gift for Posting with Hashtag on Social Media

Gift Information
Recieve either an Omiya Bonsai Art Museum original postcard or a mini bonsai (chosen at random).

How to Take Part
① Post a picture of yourself in a yukata picture taken at the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum on either Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag “#yukatadebonbi2024”, or “#ゆかたde盆美2024”.
② Show this post to the receptionists at the reception counter (which gift you will receive will be chosen randomly there).

・Gift is only available to those wearing Japanese dress such as a yukata.
