This piece bears the appearance of two stones of different sizes huddled together, resembling a cliff that slants to the right. Taken from the Yoshima River in Fukushima Prefecture, it gives off a natural, graceful aura. The name of this suiseki, “Sō-jun”, meaning damp blue, comes from the moist, blue tint of its surface, which you often see in stones from Yoshima River.
