As the name implies, taki-ishi, or waterfall stones, evoke the image of a cascade through the pattern on their stone surfaces and are adored by a large variety of viewing stone enthusiasts. This stone resembles a waterfall which powerfully falls straight from the top of a mountain to the plunge pool. A cascade can be seen condensed into this small stone.
