This suiseki was taken from the Saji River in Tottori Prefecture. It has numerous folds that run throughout its surface, almost like they are running through a mountain surface. Stones from the Saiji River are hard and often have an elegant jet-black color. The folds throughout the surface give it the impression of a vista holding precipitous cliffs.
