This pot was made by hand and is shaped like a teacup. The picture on it is a standing image of Musashibo Benkei (a 12th century warrior monk) carrying a gigantic temple bell. It was painted comically in the Otsu-e painting style, which was a cartoon style developed in Otsu in Shiga Prefecture.
