A pot made in Yixing, China, an area famous for bonsai pottery. It is colored a faint pink using a type of clay called touka dei, or peach blossom clay, in Japan. This pot shows off the beauty that one can expect of Yuxing ware with its detailed and smooth surface. There is a mark at the bottom which reads “keikei-ryusakuko” in Japanese pronunciation, which is thought to be related to who created this piece.
