Due to its delicate needles, this juniper bonsai appears to have been collected from Itoigawa City in Niigata Prefecture, which his home to many famous juniper bonsai. What makes this piece special are the white trunk which twists and turns as it rises from the root base, the fine branches which have become, jin, dead whitewood branches, and the unique texture of leaves which you find on Itoigawa junipers.
