Three trunks rise from the root base of this bonsai forming a style known as sankan. While the root base protrudes like a slightly elevated hill, a space is created as the stern trunk opens its inner parts. A highlight of this tree can be found in its small leaves, the size of which lend to the image of a much larger tree.
