As it is called "Yoshida Shigeru’s Zelkova" in the bonsai world, it was the favorite tree of former Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida, who was also the first president of the Japan Bonsai Association. Its unique and imposing body boasts an overwhelming presence, while its branch tips are made into delicate treetops as only zelkova bonsai can do.
