The imposing trunk of this Japanese winterberry bonsai rises energetically from its base. At the center the trunk we find a stone that has been naturally enveloped giving the impression of a full grand tree. The thorn-bearing green leaves and the small astringent fruit developing on the branches call to mind the feeling of autumn.
